On October 7th, a symposium was held at the homestead to look at potential development of an agriculture component at  Macphails.

We are pleased to announce that Dr. George McRobie has been made a patron of the Sir Andrew Macphail Homestead.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Harry Baglole to the position of Executive Director, primarily in charge of the Macphail Homestead’s sustainable, small-scale and organic agrigultural project. More news on this as the project progresses. Also, Mr. Richard MacEwen is welcomed as a Director on the Board. He will be working closely with Harry on this project.
